Ever thought what you car gets up to when you leave it at the airport during your absence? Obviously, this is an exception, but you won’t be surprised.

AND Malaga Policia LocalOfficers belonging to the Málaga-city, Policía Local came across a car with two men in it, driving along a pedestrian area, so they waved it down. The driver had evidently been drinking so they breathalysed him and found that he had double the maximum amount of alcohol permitted in his system.

The passenger was acting nervously so they also asked him for his ID. It turns out this passenger was an employee at Málaga Airport private parking facilities and that the car belonged to a client who had left his car with the company during his absence.

This occurred around 13.00h on the 4th of February, on a pedestrianised street near the Paseo Marítimo Antonio Machado, where there were many walkers using the area at the time.

When the police pulled the car over, the driver stopped the vehicle on a cyclist lane causing riders to have to go round the stopped car.

The officers contacted the parking company, who confirmed that the man held was one of their employees and that they intended to report him for the misuse of customers’ cars.
