The oldest conjoined twins in the world have died at 62 years old.

Lori and George Schappell passed at a hospital in Pennsylvania on Sunday, according to their obituaries published by Leibensperger Funeral Homes.

They died of undisclosed causes at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

The siblings’ skulls were partially fused and they shared 30% of their brains. Doctors had predicted they would not live past 30 years old.

They lived to be 62 years and 202 days old, which is nine years older than the second-oldest female conjoined twins on record.

‘Guinness World Records are saddened to learn of the deaths of the oldest living conjoined twins and oldest female conjoined twins ever, Lori and George Schappell,’ Guinness World Records wrote on Friday.
