Time to ‘ooo’ and ‘aaa’: The team lists are out for the week!

Interestingly, three-time All Australian Jack Macrae has been left out of the Western Bulldogs side for another week.

We’ve got a lot of star forwards back.

Veteran forward (second in the Coleman last year) Taylor Walker will return for Adelaide’s Friday night clash with Geelong, after missing round one due to back spasms.

For Melbourne, Harrison Petty is back in the side. And Ben Brown got to keep his spot as it’s Taj Woewodin that’ll sit on the sidelines.

On the debut front, Chad Warner’s younger brother Corey will run out for the first time – Robbie Fox will watch from the sidelines injured – and well talked about key forward Jed Walter will play his first game for Gold Coast.

It’s great news for North Melbourne with both co-captains back in, Jy Simpkin and Luke McDonald, while in an interesting call, veteran Liam Shiels named as the sub.

For GWS, Nick Haynes is out with personal reasons.

With Tanner Bruhn out injured for the Cats Oisín Mullin comes in.

There are some big changes at Essendon with Sam Draper, Darcy Parish, Jayden Laverde and Nick Hind all in for their first games of the year. All out are Zach Reid (hamstring), Mason Redman (suspension), Matt Guelfi (calf) and Harry Jones (omitted).

And we all by now from the week, Oscar Allen is out of action with a knee setback for West Coast and Richmond’s Dion Prestia has been sidelined for 8-10 weeks with a hamstring injury.
