Tensions are high ahead of the Anfield clash on Sunday.

Police have even ramped up security following a number of unsavoury incidents over recent years.

The Reds are currently top of the Premier League table, a point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s reigning champions.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are hot on the heels of them two in third.

And they could finish the weekend in first if they beat Brentford at the Emirates and the other two draw.

However, prior to the huge action coming up, Walker took time out of preparations to join six-time title winner and Manchester United legend Ferdinand on his Vibe With Five podcast.

While discussing the upcoming trip to Anfield, a ground that full-back Walker revealed he had never won at, Ferdinand’s co-host Joel Beya was more interested in another upcoming fixture.

Following the international break, Arsenal travel to the Etihad to face City, who they beat 1-0 at the Emirates in October.

And Beya could not hide his confidence as he brazenly warned Walker – forcing Ferdinand to awkwardly step in.

Ferdinand told Beya: “You’re energy is mad.

“You’ve not won nothing but you’re energy is like you’ve got a few titles behind you.”

Beya then looked directly at Walker and said: “I don’t want to say too much yeah, but for real, me and my friends are looking at that game on 31 March and we reckon we can get something out of that game.

“For many years you go there and it’s a bit… you don’t know. But this time around.”

As Walker covered his mouth while smirking, Ferdinand jumped in and asked Beya: “Why is there base in your voice? How dare you?”
