Omar Gabriel Munoz of Sacramento, Calif., was looking at his surveillance system last week and was shocked to see someone inside a trash bag waddling up his entrance, then lumbering up to his doorstep to steal a package.
“You see the bag coming to my door,” Munoz told KXTV. “At first, I thought they were messing with me.”
Munoz said he received a notification that a package containing two phone chargers, worth about $10, had been delivered.
He got home but there was no package by the front door so Munoz checked his security footage and saw the trashy thief in action.

“At first I was kinda angry, but when I saw the video again I was laughing because people [these] days have a lot of creativity,” Munoz said.
He added that he decided not to report the thefts because police “have more important things to do,” and Munoz just reordered the chargers.

But Munoz said if ever confronted by the thief again he would tell them, “That was a good one.”
The good-natured homeowner added: “At the end of the day, it was kind of funny. I take everything in the good way because that’s part of life. If you see the bad way of everything, you’re going nowhere.”
