Netflix actor Chance Perdomo has died aged 27.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star died after a horror motorcycle crash, his family said in a statement.
It reads: ‘It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident.’
The statement goes on: ‘His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him.
‘His warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask you to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.’
Authorities told the family that no other individuals were involved in the crash.
Perdomo was known for his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix supernatural series, based on the Archie comic books of the same name.
He also played Andre Anderson in The Boys spinoff series Gen V, on Amazon Prime Video.
He also held roles as Landon in films After We Fell, After Ever Happy and After Everything, and made appearances in Midsomer Murders and Hetty Feather.
In a statement shared with Variety, the Gen V producers said: ‘We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.’
They went on: ‘Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.’
