Wife Ann Dunnington (@anndunnington) lives a natural and non-toxic way of life, according to her TikTok bio.

Because she lives as minimal as possible, she has to get savvy when it comes to looking her best.

She revealed her go-to method to smooth static-covered hair with a kitchen item in a video .

“If you have frizzy hair like I do, there’s a trick that I learned from TikTok,” she said.

“Frizz got you down? Try some aluminum foil,” she wrote in the caption.

Ann first grabbed a piece of aluminum foil to demonstrate it firsthand.

She then briskly ran it down the length of her hair.

“Try to get everything in there,” she added.

Within seconds, the hair hack will take the static right out all without using a heating product.

“I was actually shocked at how well and how quickly it worked,” she admitted.

The useful tip also has another purpose in her household from time-to-time.

“This is about all I will use aluminum foil for and maybe tossing a ball of it in the dryer for laundry static,” she admitted in the caption.

This is especially helpful during humid weather in spring and summer.

“For how long? Will it last long though?” a viewer asked.

“Lasted most of the day for me!” Ann replied.

“Got to try this,” another commented.
