There will be a spot of live music in La Herradura on Friday with a performance of Dúo Farkhutdinova-Muro entitled, “Diálogos de Guitarra y Violín.”

LHR Concert Duo MR24The concert, which will be held in the Centro Cívico at 19.00h, will comprise of Brazilian, music styles such as Samba, Bossa Nova and Afro-Samba by composers Antonio Carlos Jobim, Irio de Paula and Baden Powell. The Guitarist, Alfredo Muro, who will play solo will also play one of his own compositions, Ecos de Amor.

El Dúo Farkhutdinova-Muro, will pay tribute with arrangements dedicated to the King of New Tango: Astor Piazzolla.

The concert was organised by the Asociación Club de Lectura La Herradura. Tickets are worth 10 euros, which can be bought at Librería Coral or Librería Páramo in La Herradura or at the door starting one hour before the curtain.

Peruvian classical guitarist Alfredo Muro shares the joy of his musical talent while performing, composing and teaching at international guitar festivals, concerts, conferences or training/teaching in his guitar studio. These three passions provide the basis for this musician’s phenomenal success and his continued and constant evolution. He has tirelessly presented his music around the world on four continents. He has performed at major concert venues such as the Kennedy Center, Benroya Hall, Cardan Arts Center and the Smithsonian Museum. While touring Europe, Alfredo Muro performed with his group Oro del Perú for the late Pope John Paul II at a “special audience” at the Vatican.

About Elena Farkhutdinova
Elena Farkhutdinova, violinist, born in Russia 1975. She has studied at the Higher Conservatory of Saratov and Volgograd. She has participated in courses and master classes with renowned teachers such as A.E. Michlin, V. Gazarian, N. Chumachenko. Likewise, she has worked as a violinist in the Volgograd Academic Symphony and as a violin and chamber music teacher at the “Citta dei Roma” Private Professional Conservatory, in Zaragoza (Spain). She is currently the director and founder of the Russian Academy of Music in Almuñécar and La Herradura. She has extensive experience as a teacher and in chamber music concerts.
